The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, demons, and sinister influences growing in power within the urban setting.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of the new season are included.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of adventurers who will split off from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, separate from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table consists of the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney), the cleric (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the beginning that maintaining everyone at one table would be impossible.

This explains, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before splitting into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

According to the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a classically intense combat and conflict-driven story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might seem out of place, but the actions of episode 3 demonstrate why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

First, the group knows exactly where to go next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose passing initiated the narrative’s action—used The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to auction.

Casimir then settled his debts and fled to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, north of the city, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each character has a specific drive to exit the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and trusted friend, seeks revenge.
  • The adventurer is familiar with Timmony and warns that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to execute the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their position as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the party access areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him wherever.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The healer turned against House Halovar and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them little choice but to head to Timmony in quest for the traitor.

Future Episodes

From the latest episode’s Cooldown, we discover that the Soldiers table will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to round up the Seekers and Strategists groups.

Audiences can look forward to learning which adventurers will be where in the season’s last Overture episode, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
